* at least 12-13 weeks old when they move
* health certificate made by vet not older than 7 days
* vaccinated 2 times for Catflue and Panleukopenia
* dewormed
* registered within SVERAK.
* Id-marked with chip
* Insured for 3 years with Agria (only for hidden defects)

A PURCHASE OF A BIRMAN..

No cats are sold over the internet but it's a good way to make contact.
Tell me a little bit about you and your plans. Is the cat going to be only a pet or are you interested in breeding and show .
All kitten buyers should come here to visit there new family member as often as they can. When it's possible I take the kitten to its new home and help with "installing" the kitten.

CAT TIPS FOR BEGINNERS

This you should have at home:
* Sandbox and catsand.
* Food bowl and waterbowl. Preferably multiple waterbowls in different places..
* Cat bed. There's a lot of options here. Otherwise your bed is going to be the sleeping place.
* Clawboard alt. clawfurniture. Cats have to have one of those. Not only to sharpen their claws but also to mark territory .
* Toys. The cat needs something to do when you're not home..
* Tweezers for ticks.

Do you have ...
* "Cat sitter" when you're gone? Cats can not be home alone more than TOPS 24 hours..
* Caravan, summercabin or a boat? Can you take the cat with you?
* Time to take care of a cat? The cat has to have food, cuddle, play and emptying of sandbox. Every day.
* A playmate for the cat when you are working a lot. Another cat. From my own experience it's easier to have 2 cats then 1.
* Is someone in your family allergic? How is that affecting you and your cat?

TIPS & TRICKS

* Remove everything that can harm your cat. Look at it as getting a baby. You don't put
knifes up front or leave the stove on etc.
* Make sure the cat can't escape through a window or that your balcony has glas or net
all around it. If you live in a house, make a little pentry in the back. I don't sell any cats as outdoor cats.
* Teach your cat just like a child what it can and can not do. In the beginning it's going to
try everything.. Jump up eveywhere, taste things. And remember what I wrote above. Buy a clawing furniture. You don't want your furniture to be destroyed. For example, to teach your cat that it can not be on the table take a water spray and spray just above the cat.
* But the best method is to incourage the cat and pet it a bit extra when it's doing the right thing instead of punishing it.
