Now little Anima has moved on too. Her new family is named Rådlund and they live in Skogås and her new name will be Saga. She has two girls there that have longed for their new familymember for several months. This feels so good and we thinks she has the best of homes!

Anima is a forward and social little cat with a longing for play and love. We will miss you so much and we can't wait to see how things will go in your new home and to see how you look when you get older.

Now little Cora has moved to her new family. She will be living with Elisabeth Jenzen in Grödinge and will now be called Maja, she might get a friend in the future that will be named Måns. (It’s two characters from a series about a tail less cat that all children know of in Sweden) It feels very good and we believe that she’s going to feel well in her new home, but at the same time we will miss our round little ball of fur that has grazed us with her existence for 13 weeks.

Cora is a curious little lady with a will of her own, she is extremely playfull and long strings with bells in the end is the favorite!
We hope you’ll be well our little love and we long for the day we get some pictures of you when you’ve grown a bit!

I got a sad call yesterday. Cora's buyer changed her mind so little Cora is staying here for a while. Luckily I only needed the add out for a few minutes and I mailed one of the ones that showed interest before. So now she's going to move to Grödinge next thursday. I'm very happy about because she's going to be well there.

They went through the check-up with the vet this tuesday and they all passed nicely, they charmed the vet a lot!

Soon to be 12 weeks old.. They are so sweet and mischievous! I can sit looking at them for hours..
Yesterday we gave all of them and mommy a bath, and cut their claws again.. The claws grow soo fast on the little ones! They were so calm and sweet when we bathed them. I'm so proud! When they had dried up all three of them fell asleep exhausted in the sun. Is there anything cuter than 3 small cottonballs?? Not much anyway.. We're so proud of this litter, they look so nice all three of them.
I'm so looking forward to August when we are to put Alma out for show for the first time.. I'm nervous!

2008-07-06

Our babies are growing and growing. I can't believe that they're soon to be 10 weeks old.
Cora is now reserved to a girl in Norway and Anima is moving to a family that lives pretty close to us. It feels strange that they're going to move soon. Cora moves in 2,5 weeks and Anima in the middle of August.

They've been vaccinated this monday and they were so nice. Didn't make a beep.

2008-06-17

Seven weeks old.. Already! So now this place is full of running and climbing our legs until they bleed is a big favourite. As you can see under kittens, Alma is great at climbing and her shoulder is a big favourite. She's sitting there always... A cute little parrot.

Anima is reserved and Cora is for sale. And Alma is staying with us.

We've looked at different shows in the autumn that we're going to go with Alma and Tita. We're really looking forward to this!

2008-06-09

It's been a while since I last wrote.. But I have good reasons for this! We've moved to a bigger apartment. Bigger and more space! And we love it here!

The kittens are doing well and they grow more and more for each day! It's not so much fun to take pictures anymore.. They just run away from me! :)

We're now pretty sure that Alma is going to stay with us.

2008-05-26

It's crazy here now! Race in the kitten place and cuddling. I'm so in love with all of them!

Little Anima seems to have gauntlets on her front paws, which means that she's not fitted for show. We'll see when she gets a bit older and she gets more color.
Cora looks pretty good, she's gotten a bit small socks in front but there is white on all toes and the gauntlets looks very good!
Och our Alma, she is probably going to stay here with us.

We have so much to do now with the moving on friday. Luckily the kittens know nothing of this and plays in the litter box instead. They've started to eat semper from a plate and they're using the litterbox for eating sand (yuk!), play in, dig in and maybe pee some times. Good girls!

2008-05-20

And yet they've grown a bit more! They're so cute now so I'm considering keeping them all :)
Today we're going to the vet again and he's going to look at Anima's eyes. But as you can see on the pictures her eyes look just fine!

They're already 3 weeks. Only 2 weeks more until people are coming and admiring the little ones! It's going to be fun to meet people who is looking for a new family member. Let's hope we'll meet someone who fits our babies.

I can't stop taking pictures of them! I looked at their galleries and realized that they're almost full :)

Later the same day:
We've now been to the vet and he looked at Anima's eye, it's healed itself totally! So we don't need to go back and go through a lot of treatments! He was a bit chocked that it healed so nicely in such a short time! Our beloved Anima, a real fighter!

2008-05-16

Lucy and Giggs are home again, they got a little vacation at my moms for 1 week and then at my dads for 1,5 weeks.
Giggs thinks that those little small things in the box are mighty frightening! He gets so scared when they're piping!.. So sweet! Lucy was really happy to see Tita when she met her but when Lucy saw her in the box a while after she didn't like her no more.. She probably smells funny now.

They are so cute right now! I'm looking at them alla the time and I'm soo in looove.. They're soon to be 3 weeks. I can't believe that time disappears so fast! And yes, I will stop whining about time, but it does go too fast! I'm talking to the owner of cute daddy Nitro about putting the little ones out for show.. It's a bit hard since all the shows in Stockholm are just before they turn 3 months.. I hope we find one.

2008-05-14

Time goes by way too fast! I'm constantly watching the babies and I realize that they're 2 weeks now.. Where did time go? Yesterday I was taking pictures of Anima and she started walking around (on her legs, not crawling), it was so sweet! And now the little box is a bit too small they seem to think so we made the hole a bit higher up. We could hear them screaming and then I saw Anima hanging out of the hole hoping for a little picnic or something.. But we stopped it, so now it will work for a week or so I hope..

I'm trying to see their socks and where they are on their paws.. I'm so exited to see which one fits to what. Cora's socks are a bit low but ok, Anima and Alma looks like they could be pretty good.. But the back I can't see yet.. Hmm.. It's really hard, and it could change.. Poor me, I'm so curious... :)

2008-05-09

I can not believe how good of a mother Tita is. I’m reading on forums about mommies that move their kittens around back and forth and that dosen’t really know what they want. Tita likes her little box and they’re staying put. Next to my side of the bed. But that’s probably going to change when they start to move… I took up one of the kittens to the scale and *poof*, she was somewhere else.. Ha ha..

I’ve now booked an appointment to the vet again for looking a bit closer on the tabby's cornea, we want to see how deep the injury is and what we should do to fix it. We really hope that she manages to heal this injury herself. According to the vet she has started to heal already which feels very hopeful.

They’ve gotten so cute! My heart takes a leap every time I check them. I’ve gotten my eyes up for our little Alma who keeps getting cuter!

2008-05-07

I haven't written for a while because we've had a few hard days here. Our little tabby girl got an eye infection in the weekend and it ended with her having an irritation/hole on her cornea. It's been a few hard days but it's turned for the better. So now the eyes starts to look good. It feels so good that we've turned it around. The other two are fine and gaining as they should. We haven't had much time to enjoy the little ones at home. A lot going on!

But the family is well and I've now taken some new pictures.. It's getting harder and harder though.. To look into the camera you HAVE to avoid if you ask them.. And I'm doing small kissing sounds automatically until I realize that they can't hear me.. Ha ha.. But from now on I'm going to be better with the updates and the diary..

2008-05-04

It is 3 girls just like I thought! I feel pretty good now! They've gotten their names now S*Mimitos Anima Eterna which means "Eternal Soul", S*Mimitos Ardiente Corazon which means "Burning Heart" and S*Mimitos Amiga del Alma which means "Friend of the Soul". Which one is which isn't decided quite yet. I put the names on the kittens page and I will correct it as soon as I know more about the personality and looks of them. I've had some time to think about the names and it's really exiting that I finally get to use them.

I was thinking of having the theme souls/spirits but that idea didn't work when 3 girls came out since I also do the litters alphabetically. So the last girl was named Burning Heart instead. Anima and Alma means Soul. And as I explain on the index page this is spanish.

2008-05-02

We now know that the colors of the babies is 2 blue pointed and 1 blue tabby pointed (of course with expertise help from my friend Caroline (S*Nounous).
She's coming here tomorrow to confirm that it is 3 girls we're dealing with here :)

Yesterday I put out some pictures of them separately. They are so cute and they already look like personalities. Now I can see the difference between them I think. One of the blue ones have a bit rounder head than the other one. And then there's the tabby one. I'll right out the names of them as soon as we know the definite sexes tomorrow.

2008-05-01

It looks like all of them has gotten color on their ears which probably means that they're all blue.
Tabby you can't see yet. I so want to keep a blue tabby so for me it's only good that they're blur, more selection for me :) It's so quite in the box that I have to go and check now and then to make sure that they're breathing :) She's doing such a good job!

Yesterday when I weighed them they weighed 122, 113, and 123 gr. So the small one hasn't gained as much as the other ones but it's still 12 gr in 1,5 days which is very good! They are really hungry down there in the box :) I put out some new pictures yesterday! My cute little cotton balls! :)

2008-04-30

Finally they're born our little balls of wool! We have longed for this for a long while! We found out during this year that Tita's been with us that she's mommies' cat :), she's in heat but silently and she's a fantastic breeder/mommy.

She got the first contractions at 10.00 PM when she was on my belly watching a movie with me. I'd felt that something was up earlier during the day so I spent most of my day in bed next to her little box.
So she jumped down in her box and the contractions came and went and came and went.. After 2 hours I called my friend Caroline (S*Nounous) up and sounded a bit hysteric. She calmed me down and said that everything was in order. I called her a few times between then and 00.30 AM, after that I called this fabulous and competent veterinary that who said that everything sounded ok and that she thought that I should take a ride in the car with Tita. She also said that almost 50% of the people who take their pet to the veterinary give birth in the car because of the stress. So we took a trip in the car. Nothing happened.. So I laid down and watched a movie and rested a while with her next to me. After a while 03.00 AM real contractions started. She got the first baby out at 03.15 AM (104gr), the second 03.25 AM (101gr) and the last one 04.05 (109gr).

So that's how our little darlings were born! It was a fabulous experience to see this fantastic female who really knew what to do give birth to 3 healthy and perky kittens. She takes care of the them so well. Tita is a bit tired but she's not too tired to cuddle a bit with mommy now and then.. This morning when I woke up she through herself at me and cuddled for a long while. I missed her too during the night.. Normally she always sleeps next to me on my arm :)
