Our beloved Alma is no more.. I can't believe it.. Just a month ago she was fine.. The tears fall down my cheeks as I realize that out beloved kitty won't be cuddling in my lap nor whine at our legs as we cook.. No kitty will be scratching our knees and feet for attention.. How did this happen??
Alma has been sent for an autopsy so we know for sure why she got sick, I'll write more later..
According to the autopsy our beloved Alma died of malignt lymfoma (leukemia), Felv that is. As you can see above she was tested negatively for this in May last year which means that she most have been in contact with it after that. All the rest of our cats are tested negatively after Alma died which gives us some kind of relief.
Alma came first in this litter.. She's S*Mimitos' firstborn so it is fitting that she was the most promising of the three sisters. She was the smallest of the three and the most cautious and she did everything last. But when she started walking, playing and eating, she did it well!
She was the kitten that came up to us first and wanted to be carried and climbed up your leg when you came into the room. A little girl that loves to play parrot on your shoulder. She loves to cuddle and be in the centre of attention all the time..

Loves: She is a bit of a "I cuddle when I want to kind of girl" but she looooves it! She also loves food :) To run around and play with kittens :)
Hates: When mommy wants her to be a supermodel in front of the camera, she goes all catatonic on you (!) or when she needs to take a bath..
Favorite person: She seems to love mommy the most :) But daddy is good to have around when you want to play and also when to have someone to sleep on..
