My name is Lisa-Marie Posado Chandler and I live in Haninge, the south side of Stockholm together with my husband Oliver, his little brother Adrian and our cats.
I met Oliver on my 10-month long trip to Spain. I was working as an au pair and I fell in love with a charming spanish guy. We both realized that this was "for real" pretty soon so we moved in to an apartment together and I started to work as a hostess and cashier at a restaurant.
Because of different reasons we decided to leave Spain for cold Sweden, so we packed our things and headed here.
The 27th of February 2009 we got married in a small and lovingly way together with my close family.
Adrian moved here in August 2009 to go to school here for a year (for starters at least).
Plans for the future are to develope my webdesign, which are my great interest. Oliver is studying political science and works extra in the mornings.
I'm currently waiting to start studying in March.
A cat in the house is a certainty for me but since I've worked a lot and had a demanding job at the same time as moving around in Sweden and out of the country there hasn't been time or space. I'm not getting a cat or a child until there's time and money for it. They're worth more than that!
First we were going to get a domestic cat but I hoped that maybe I could convince Oliver to get a birman. My interest for the Sacred Birman started when I was a child, when my friend Caroline and her mother had a birman breeding. I managed to convince my parents to buy one but that was about it. So now I thought that maybe I could fulfill this 14 year old dream myself. Oliver is not that interested in breeding and shows but he supports me 100% and he helps a lot which I am most grateful for.
We became hosts for a little cat (Trevino's Ukama) in December 2006 and for several reasons we only had one litter on her and then she returned to the breeder. But we bought another cat from the same breeder (CH Trevino's Tinni-Tuss) who is hopefully the foundation of our breeding.
In 2008 our first litter with our name on it came to the world. In that litter the most wonderful little blue eyed cat that has ever walked the earth came out. Her name is CH S*Mimitos Amiga Del Alma and we decided that she was going to stay with us.
She's been doing really well in shows and hopefully she's going to be as good of a mother as her own mother. :)
And in 2009 our second litter arrived from CH Trevino's Tinni-Tuss and there was an even nicer female than in the first one and after a long time of thinking we realized that there was no selling this girl :) (we were NOT suppose to keep anything from this litter)
At about the same time I found our male Ghibli, a good looking male from S*Almgrynet's breeding in the north (Gävle).
Please look around and don't forget to leave us something in our guestbook before you leave :)
Best regards
